June 2012

June 22, 2012 by Spring House Farm

Hello Spring House Farm friends!

It’s late spring with our summer about to start with a bang! Well at least a quiet one as things are mostly quiet and peaceful as usual here on the farm.

Spring brought some great rains so our forest is lush and healthy with at the present a great display of Rhododrendon blossoms. As always, our Big Rock Candy Mountain trail is a great way to work out the kinks all the while providing some great scenery. We now have a picnic table placed about halfway through the 2.5-mile loop which makes for a nice stopping point to catch your breath and take in the beauty.

Our Hammock Island pond is flush with new color for our Lilly blooms!  I have started a small coy fish population which will add some under the surface color. So far the fish seem to love their new home!

Did you guys know that we are an Eco-Friendly resort? Check it out!

If you just want to come and chill without getting out and about, there are lots of cool things to do during your stay!

Don’t forget to ‘Like’ us on the farms own Facebook page where one can find current farm news and special deals!

Our two bedroom “1835 Appalachian” is sporting a cool new cantilevered deck out over the bold stream that passes directly by the yard. See photos!

Scroll through the pictures there and notice that I have some great shots from my “Critter Cam.” It’s a cool motion sensitive camera that captures our wildlife in there natural habitat.

More and more of our guests are traveling with the canine friends so please ensure that your pups are all up to date on their medications and are free of ticks and fleas!

We have expanded our pet policy and are allowing only well behaved and house broken over 15 months canine friends here at the farm. Animals must be leashed on the walking trails and around other guests. (Please leave your animal in your vehicle during the check in process!) Check out our official pet policy link.

We hope to see all of you soon, especially our valuable repeat guests that have been returning to this comfortable, beautiful and stress free escape for years!

Peace,
Arthur, Zee, Miss Belle (Chickie) and Mr. Jerry Lee!
