This log-constructed cabin in the deep forest overlooks a natural hard wood “holler.” This is a great wildlife viewing location for deer and turkey and a prolific wild bird population. The back deck has a four-person hot tub and gas grill, and indoors features a Vermont Castings wood-burning fireplace. It’s a nice, quiet, and easy walk to the water lily pond to relax on the hammocks under the gazebo.
Guests also may enjoy more than 10 acres of hay fields in which to picnic, or try your luck in the fishing pond where a canoe-like boat is provided. The stream is a natural non-stocked stream, which is open and easy in places but difficult and tight in other areas. In all, we feature about a mile stretch of Greasy Creek private to you and the other guests. Of course, we can arrange any trip with local guides on a separate basis.
