Happy Spring 2013! Winters gone finally, leaving us with all the amazing things that early spring brings like fresh new blooms and whippoorwills’ calling for a mate late away into the evening.
A new garden has been planted with lettuces and a nice variety of tomatoes that when in we will be happy to share with our guests. With the warmer weather, our fish are getting active and fattening up for the season by feasting on the fresh crop of tadpoles and grasshoppers.
The cabins have all had their spring deep cleaning and are ready for a new season of happy campers! There’s still enough firewood for a nice fire in the fireplaces on those still cool nights after a long soak in the hot tubs.
Don’t forget about our farm fresh breakfast items like our local farm eggs and sourwood honey! Smear some of that on a slice of our fresh baked bread we hand over upon check in! That bread sliced off and heated in a pan with some olive oil and a little fresh garlic makes some pretty incredible croutons for that lettuce that will be coming from our garden. Speaking of food we are now featuring Vegetable Kingdom pepper jelly and salsa in our new gift shop. The line up includes salsa, chow-chow, relish’s and gumbo. Our gift shop also has the usual items like logo item mugs, shirts and robes as well as our very cool Spring House Farm ball caps.
We are still running our Super Spring Special which is …
Stay two nights on Sunday-Thursday nights, and get special rate of $199-$245/night! On Friday & Saturday, get 25% off your second night.
Don’t forget that the weathers getting just nice enough to have a side by side massage on your cabin deck (the cabins are that secluded)! Check it out.
We look forward to seeing our many repeat guests this year and also are excited about meeting new guests.
Arthur, Zee and the whole Spring House Farm gang!
